Does it matter now? it is a BAD loss...as is the loss to Oregon State, 8th place team in the Pac, and SF, 5th place team in the WCC....no do overs..but I think UM has improved with every game. It will be interesting to see how they handle Hawaii, and Weber...if they win out, a good seed is possible and after that, who knows? if they lose, well, UM had a great season but Tinks will be on a lot of AD's short list....

When the Griz lost to Oregon State they (OSU) were 6-1, eventually got to 11-4 and are currently 15-10. Not sure I'd classify that as a "bad" loss. Looks bad NOW because OSU has lost 3 of their last 4, but gotta keep it in context.

Now, the ND loss...THAT is a bad loss.

A conference champion, which I expect UM to finally be, loses to an 8th place PAC team..that's a bad loss no matter how you spin it, and the loss to a 5th place WCC team is worse..but..a win over Hawaii, Weber and MSU gives the selection and seeding committee incentive to give UM at least a 12 seed....At any rate, a great season for UM and next year promises to be better....no doubt, Tinkle is attracting attention....

Hindsight is 20/20, no? It might look like a bad loss NOW, but it wasn't at the time. Although any time you lose a game 71-46 it can't be "good". :lol:
