This was good news and I thought it deserved its own thread

Those are with Gresh in 7 games in reality closer to five full games.IdaGriz01 said::thumb:AZDoc said:I like his stats vs the other QBs on the list.
Here are the 6 QBs STATS included in their initial list. A few things stand out to me upon initial analysis:AZDoc said:I like his stats vs the other QBs on the list.

1. Jensen has a decent completion % compared to the others; 3rd on the list, and only 2% lower than the leader (Riley, or Mercer).
2. Jensen is second among the QBs in passing yards, despite only getting significant playing time in 5 games (and only starting 4 games).
3. Rushing yards is a common theme among this group of QBs. In fact, Jensen's 115 yards are only good for 5/6 among the nominees. His 4 rushing TDs are tied for 2nd though.
4. Jensen ranks 4th of the 6 QBS in total yards, though again, he has only played in significant time in 5 of Montana's 7 games.
5. Caylin Newton (Howard) is Cam Newton's little brother.

Jensen certainly has a good shot, but as I pointed out earlier he is only 4/6 in total yards among these QBs. Smith from Campbell especially has impressive yards...AZGrizFan said:Grant Breneman, Colgate, QB, 6-1, 195, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania

Only guy I see with better stats is the Riley guy from Mercer. Better completion percentage, more yards, same # of TD's and INT's, more carries, more yards (but one more game). And really, Jensen has done the vast majority of his in 4 games, so should look much better than Riley by year-end (assuming he's been the starter all along)...
The Colgate guy's ONE INT looks pretty impressive too...
