That said, go look at NIU's numbers on offense, they run a spread as well and put up some seriously good stats. Cole wasn't the OC but he played a big part in it.

Cole also ran the spread at Florida A & M where he was the OC.
 
Its been awhile but the last stint here with Bob Cole, the offense put up some big numbers. It seems most coachs here strive for more than FCS. If performing at a high level gets them there, welcome aboard.
