They didn't get the right look from EWU on the 4th and 1 that's why they called time out. Cry all you want they called the perfect game against this team. If we drop back and throw the ball 40 times we would have been destroyed. We played to our strengths the entrie game and just came up short. No need to blame anyone for this loss.

I think they were trying to get EWU to bite with an offside with that 4th and 1 (we should either kicked right after that first timeout, or just gone for it). If we would have gone for it, then we should have used a bunch formation and use greg hardy or some big body as a fullback (since DM was out with ankle injury).

Thanks for the post. Looking forward. We are a work in progress. I won't be surprised to see Eastern in the National Championship game again. They are a fine team. We almost had them...on the inferno.

Don't be a dumbass. They weren't waiting for "a look" they were trying to get EWU to jump and they wasted two timeouts for it. And where exactly did I say we should throw the ball 40 times? However when we are gashing them like we were throwing a play action in every once in awhile wouldn't be unreasonable. Lastly I didn't blame anyone for the loss, however pointing out obvious mistakes as obvious contributing factors to a loss is also not unreasonable.

You can GFY for the dumbass comment. Sometimes you spend a time out looking to see what the other team is going to do. I think taking the points was the right play. Made it a two score lead and the time on the clock was our friend at that point in the game. Coaches were playing the numbers that's what good coaches do.

When a team drives the ball into the ground for a high bounce, the receiving team can call for a fair catch and must be given a 1-yard half-halo - - Had they been informed....game over Griz win.

Yes sometimes you do...that however was not what they were doing. Good coaches win games they don't play "not to lose". Quit making shit up. When did I say they shouldn't have taken the points? If that was what they were going to do they could've done it without spending 1 timeout much less 2.
