Great Griz Encounter tonight.

I don't know if it's been posted but the Great Griz Encounter is this evening at Caras Park from 5:30 till 8:30. The lady at the Downtown Association said the Griz will be there close to when it starts.

Took 4 teenage girls to the Great Griz Encounter last night. (My two daughters and their two friends). They had a blast. All the players where great (or as my 17 year old said , sweet) They also got to meet the cheerleaders and talk to them about being a "Griz" cheerleader. All four are cheerleaders at their highschool. Them took them to have a little slice of Missoula, burgers at the MO Club.

It was packed, tons of Griz fans. Coach gave a great "speech", he is very confident sounding, likable but tough man. Dan Moore, Jordan Tripp, drew large cheers from the crowd, as did several others. A great time had by all, awesome band, good food, great beer, Monte entertaining the crowd, pretty cheerleaders......

Frankly to me, it speaks volumes that he was there supporting the team and the community.

She was - incognito as a cheerleader.... Took a while to get her made up.

Frankly to me, it speaks volumes that he was there supporting the team and the community.

I wonder if any player, parent, coach, or administrator, or many of the fans, felt he was there "supporting" the team. Some of his actions have been the antithesis is supporting the team. We'll see if he sells out the team with the NCAA, to try to justify or obscure some of the actions he has taken.
