Great Fans

I am an App State fan and was at the, as usual, a great game between the two schools. BUT, the thing that impressed me the most was the fans of Montana.
Very respectful, very energetic, and very nice. I really thought they were nice to our team as well as theirs. I would rate Montana Fans #1 in the FCS. I hope all of those who came to Boone, NC enjoyed themselves and the area and were treated with great respect.

There might be a few other programs/fan bases that are as good as the Appalachian State folks, but there is no one better...NO ONE!

I've never been at a loss for words, but I am for how we were treated by the Mountaineer faithful. It was simply amazing!

GreatAppState got Ursus, ALPHA, KNUTS, and myself hooked on "Shine", and also got us an unlimited/unrestricted tour of the complete ASU football facility, along with about 30-45 minutes of "face time" with Coach Moore & his wife!

Fan wise, I believe they are as good as Griz Nation! :thumb:
