Sure, some teams got thumped … generally, as expected. And some others played weak sisters, but at least they won.

But:
Sac State over Colorado (yes, Colo is lame, but they are FBS)
NAU over UNLV (sure LV sucks, but they are FBS)
EWU hangs within 4 points of WSU
The Griz went on the road against a tough opponent, in a rabid environment … and at least had a chance to win late.
No Colo found somebody they could beat. (Hey … “a win is a win.”)
ISU found somebody they could beat (ditto :lol: )
MSU eked out a win. (ditto :lol: )

Painful as it was for the Griz to lose -- congrats to ASU -- at least these other successes softened the blow somewhat.

What is painful is 14 points from turnovers. What softens the blow is to see how the Griz played once they settled down. McKinney is the future and Dan Moore is a beast.
