Carroll had a tying TD in OT called back on a holding call. The only one called all day. Tough loss for the Saints.

Congrats to MVD, his team and his program. Passed over him twice here. Other than a handful of nuts on egriz most realize these were lost opportunities.

Carroll got beat by a very good team, and my guess is that the game was the de facto chipper.
The loss of their stellar middle linebacker, and Frontier Conference MVP, Sean Blomquist was easily the difference in the game---- went out in the first quarter with a pulled hammy and did not return. Even so, a valiant effort by the Saints---- could have given up when they went down 20-10 midway through the 3rd quarter, but they fought back to a tie and had a chance to win it. Great season for the Saints really. Saw them play last weekend against another very good team---Missouri Valley--- and it was a great game, much closer than the final score.
