Still in front of them. The Big Sky title, another drubbing of the Kittens, making some noise in the playoffs. Everything is still there for the taking. Sure they are 1-2, but we've seen what this team is capable of when they come to play and put everything together. I am confident any weaknesses or issues are being addressed and ironed out by the coaching staff. Not a knock on Delaney, but I have more confidence in Stitt making sure all the i's are dotted and t's are crossed. This team is now battle tested as well, having played 3 solid teams and what could easily be 3 playoff teams. Stitt just said it best, it's one thing if you don't have the talent but another when you have this kind of talent that can beat anyone in the conference as long as they don't shoot themselves in the foot. If this team gets back to what they did with NDSU then all their goals are still achievable.

There seem to be fewer dotted i's and crossed t's each week, however. There is a trend that needs to be reversed if we are to start winning.

Other than the lost of JJ, this is just about the same offensive athletes that went two deep in the playoffs last year, what has changed other than Mick be replaced.

Valid point but I'd say that loss of JJ alone is big. That dude would be a gamer in this offense. Plus having Canada (who ran for back to back 1000 yard seasons) is also a big offensive loss from last year. Those two alone in this offense could make a very big difference in my opinion.

Those JJ led offenses virtually never turned the ball over.....That was their secret.

Agreed. The offense regressed each game with BG at the helm....Chalich breathed a little life into it, but had some other bonehead plays that made you just shake your head....long ways to go to get it right, IMHO.

Chances are very likely Stitt will make sure Chalich steps up in the pocket, and/or throws the ball away to minimize lost yards or forced passes.

I like this thread. Positive thinking all the way. Until we're mathematically out of contention for all the team goals, we're still in. I have faith in the team and the coaching staff and I have faith that on game day Griz Nation will continue to show up and support their team.
