Google Map of FCS Programs

I just saw this map of all of the FCS football programs on AGS.com. It's pretty neat to see where all of the FCS programs are, & what conferences they belong to. Interestingly, the BSC conference encompasses nearly all of the programs in the west - minus the University of San Diego.

IMO, wouldn't it have made more sense (geographically speaking) to give UND the boot & invite Sand Diego?

Geographically, yes. But USD is a small, private Catholic school that doesn't offer schollies....not exactly in our "footprint"...

UCSD plays FCS football not USD. UCSD is a filled will bio-med students.

And is the only school I've seen that has a more picturesque setting than Missoula, LaJolla is amazing.

Right, UC-San Diego is a Division II school and does not have a football program.

I believe that someone mentioned that they offer a different amount of scholarships and they would have to change it for the Big Sky.
