Good Luck in the Post Season

We will be rooting for you the rest of way.

Last year, most Cat fans were not hopeful in making any playoff noise after the debacle in Missoula. Our coaching staff did a great job of making changes to personnel and schemes. Griz have talent with that Britt and a slew of WR that probably didn’t get the ball enough.

I genuinely hope for a similar outcome for your organization, players, and fans. Your a better team than what was showcased yesterday.

Best of luck

Best of luck to you as well. Be nice to match up again in the chipper, but doubt we make it that far.

It would be awesome for the Griz to put together a post season run similar to what the Cats did LY!
Thanks for the encouragement.
Congrats to the Cats on yesterdays curb stomp of the Griz and best of luck in the post season!

Thanks. Classy post. :D

Congratulations to your team. Very impressive win. Our guys looked awful. Your damn linemen ate us up from start to finish. Good luck to the cats, hope they go far.

Other posters stated MSU was screwed on the seating. I believe they just matched up 1, 2, 3, 4 so that the Big Sky and MVC teams were on opposite sides from their conference foes. Your kids beat So. Dakota State last year, I see no reason to doubt they can't beat them again this year.

....Cats pour out a 55 gallons of ass-whipping....not sure are coaches can make the same personnel adjustments
that the Cats did...although they maybe forced too...we shall see! Good Luck!

Maybe our defensive Coaches can turn back the clock some. Back Then triple option was defended Dive back, QB, Pitch Man. You can pretty much eliminate the Pitch Man so you, as with most RPO's, must defend flow side receivers. Defenders cannot allow Gaps for people like Mellot to run through. Of course The Bobcats were Hooking run side tackles and Ends and sealing backers. Some times real penetration can create Gaps, maybe play flat to force the back laterally and use the sideline. A very old Coach and long time Griz.

Very insightful. Do you think the Griz should continue with their defensive scheme moving forward against other run heavy team’s? (NDSU comes to mind).

would you run a 46 defense? A 4-2-5? Or?

The Cats played one heck of a game. Nothing but respect from this Griz fan. We have another chance so we will see how the Griz coaches and players respond. The Cat's response to their defeat last year should be good motivation. It was pretty darned inspiring. Good luck to the Cats.

I concur. Good luck, and when the time comes, smoke those pesky bizon. I was hoping Elon and NDSU would come to Bozeman, but the selection committee had different plans...

If we both run the table, we can have an all Montana chipper! Probably a tall order, but at least there is a chance.
