Sure is cloudy in Van/PDX. There's a beer fest in Vancouver this weekend at the landing in Vancouver
 
There must be a lot of egriz regulars from out of town coming to the game. They had a special testosterone meter at the Orange Street exit and it was hitting all time highs. Have fund today.
 
Gawd, football is finally back!!!!

I will spend a good portion of the day online searching for games I can watch, (I'm a cord cutter so I don't have access to ESPN 3). There are usually two or three where you don't have pay some kind of conference fee and this early in the season I am not particular who I am watching as long as I am watching.

Tonight, of course, our second season under the mini-bob regime begins under the lights in the sweetest and loudest stadium in the BSC. I have two choices to watch it. Either stay in house and watch it on OTA SWX or, I can stroll about the length of a football field to Pooles, (a name any longtime griz fan should recognize) and join about a hundred or so sturdy griz fans and watch the game via the 20 or so tv's that seemingly cover every wall in the place.



Man I love this time of the year. Here's to hoping all the good guys win, the whiners lose, nobody gets hurt, and all fans drive safely home.
 
It isn't just football time, IT IS GRIZ TIME!!

Here's to a successful, happy and safe Labor Day weekend to all! GO GRIZ!

Come to On Deck in the Pearl District! The Alumni Association (such that it is) is watching the game there. The owner's son is a current student at the U.
