It's already a topic I like. How do you explain the lack of Cat sacks and picks? UM had at least 8 yesterday. Jones isn't putting up much for numbers. Who starts? Davis ran alot more yesterday, I saw in the stats.

Cats haven’t been a big sack team all year. Almost never blitz and just get after the QB and keep stuff in front of them. Our defense is playing amazing and the lack of sacks doesn’t seem to be hindering that. But yes, your 8 sacks on that 3rd string qb yesterday was great! I bet you don’t have 8 sacks against the Cats.
I haven’t looked at the numbers of our backs. We have several who get decent carries so it’d make sense if none of them stand out individually. But collectively we’re 2nd in the league rushing so I assume they are happy with that. We seem to have a pretty balanced offense but I honestly haven’t looked at the numbers

Decided to do this in reverse:
Ugly … The way a young QB in his first start lit up the Griz secondary.
Bad … Gtiz down in most every stat category except rushing. EWU led in … Passing attempts and yardage. First downs. Third down efficiency. Penalties. TOP.
Good … Griz won the only stat really matters, the final score.

Yes I don’t memorize all the stats. If there’s any discussion specific I’ll go to the big sky stats page. But I know we’re 2nd in the league in rushing and seem to have a more balanced attack so I’m happy about that.
But no, I don’t know the individual stats of our running backs. They all seem to run pretty well when given the opportunity. But maybe I’ll check them out and see how they all stack up.
