This is cool, but it also kind of sucks. For those of us who could not afford season tickets when the new arena was built, it was these kind of games that we thought some tickets would be available for. Reality is that we can't even find tickets for the exhibitions anymore. Any leftover tickets are offered to booster club donors first before the public; and are usually sold out in like 10 minutes.

So joe schmoes like me are left with the Battle in Seattle ($78/ticket) and the one game in the Spokane arena per year. I really think that GU could have built a 10,000 seat arena and sold it out every time.

Not complaining too much; I like that everyone is so into it here.

Doesn't Boise State University have an auditorium that seats over 16,000?
Maybe Gonzaga can get their home games switched over to Boise. O.K., O.K., just being somewhat facetious, there.

That's what I've kind of envisioned in the Missoula area some time, maybe not on campus, since construction and space limitations preclude such an expansion, seemingly, but an off-campus basketball stadium in the 16,000 to 20,000 capacity level of attendance. Maybe where an old lumber mill used to be.
