Glad We Didn't Sign Sam Riddle Jr.

What a joke. I wish Bradshaw the best at Utah State but glad we signed the kids that we did. Sam Riddle 2.0 is better off starring in rap videos about himself elsewhere. He wouldn't see the floor anyways with Cherry, Jamar, Henderson, DeShields and Gregory all ahead of him at the guard spots.

keep it real,
Scott

I agree. Watched Bradshaw a few times in his HS career. Decent but not great size and hops. Quick crossover dribble but not fast. Weird knuckle ball shot that he does make pretty often but seems suspect. Never stood out defensively or on the boards even in HS. As good a ballhandler as he's supposed to be he got picked 4 or 5 times in one half vs. Missoula Sentinel last year. Wonder if Will could steal a few from him? I've heard he's performed well at various high level camps but just don't see him lighting things up for Utah State.

ha. that was awesome. just so terrible....

riddle was the man!

On the brightside, if basketball does not work out, he too can try country music. It is working out well for Sam. Hate to admit it, but the guy is a good country musician (Sam Riddle).

I am also happy we didn't end up with Bradshaw. Now that SD mentions it I can see a bit of a Sam Riddle resemblance beyond just the red hair(attitude/arrogance). Bradshaw is definitely very talented, but I don't see him fitting with our athletic, defensive oriented guards. Wish RB the best of luck at USU but could not be happier with what Tinks has done with recruiting. Judging on potential over the next 4 years I'll take Nick Emerson all day long. Just my opinion.

You know that isn't him rapping right?? It looks like his buddies are rapping about him...
He wouldn't play over Cherry next year obviously, but in no way should we be glad we didn't sign him. He is a Montana kid (which the State hasn't produced many D1 products lately) that has potential to be a solid guard for the next 4 years. Why would you be glad we didn't snag him??

saw him in vegas a few weeks back and he's making a name for himself. i preferred him at the piano bars simply because he played all kinds of music and i'm not a real big country fan. but he's doing his thing.

he's one of those annoying guys that is just good at everything he does. ;)

Next time, I get to Vegas, I think I will go see one of Sam's shows. I like what I have heard online, and a few friends seen him perform in Vegas, and said he is pretty good.

But...can he dunk like Sam?

The Griz coaches would disagree; they wanted Riley at UM. USU & Stu Morrill don't share your view.

Bradshaw would be a good pickup. High basketball IQ and has a good handle. He wouldn't get much playing time the first few years, but he could be an asset for our roster. He was talented enough to get an offer from us anyways.
