As one who has ragged regularly on the administration - namely RE - I applaud both him and Haslam for their willingness to break the nepotic mold of hiring only guys who already own a maroon and silver hoodie but instead gave Griz football a long-awaited fresh new start. Time will tell, but I've got really good vibes about this hire...
 
I know they're routinely disliked by many on here. But the vast majority of their decisions and moves have been spot-on. I expect this one to be as well.

Kudos to Kent and his team for a job well done.
 
I agree totally with Mr. Tip and Mr. Everett, I think the search was handled well and hiring a highly qualified outsider was wise.
