It's a jam-packed GFP this week, we open with UM SID Eric Taber who gives us a rundown of the very real chance for the Brawl to get College Gameday. Eric gives us some insight on what fans can do to help make this happen. We then get right into our thoughts on the SUU game, we look around the conference, we talk UNC (Mike picks UNC to win), and then we get to a whole bunch of fan questions.

As always, search Griz Fan Pod where ever you get your podcasts, you can also find us on Montana Mint Sports. Here's our usual tweet with links to Apple, Spotify, and the Mint web page.

I heard a rumor that there was a small kurfuffle when Tabor attempted to steal Luke's beer. True?

Just like when Hauck is asked about officiating, we are not allowed to make public comments on this situation.

Haha! I just got to that part in the Pod. Kinda weird that QB Club is considered a public forum. I guess I can see it, just never really thought of it that way. Well, officials make "judgments" regarding coach/player performance, but cannot be criticized in return unless the coach brings his checkbook.

BW, do you know what the "line" is for coaches criticizing officiating in a public forum? Example: if Bobby said, "I think some pivotal calls out there were questionable, but we overcame them and got the win." Would that be fine or fineable? (disclaimer, I did not watch the press conference).

Hmm… I don’t, I wonder if someone with Athletics would tell me though. Let me find out.

Yeah I was surprised about QB club being a public forum too, but he’s seemingly known that bc while we see plays and talk about games, he clearly knows what he can and can’t say. People will ask him about officiating or injuries and he won’t really comment on it.

Great episode, guys! Taber interview was great, recap was informative, Kurtis' question was hilarious (thanks to him for the shout out), and the food answers were awesome. Great listen.

Maybe he needs a series of code words. "Some tough breaks" could be a few bad calls, and "Constant adversity" could be atrocious officiating.

"I won't comment on the officiating, and that's that. From a football standpoint, we had some tough breaks out there, but I feel like it wasn't constant adversity or anything like that."

:thumb: gotta give credit to the creator of the choose one question.

Fun POD fellas. Sounds like Luke is ready to move to Greeley with his buddies Mike and Brint. lol

Update: almost 12 hours live and still no offers for a private jet to get the GFP to Greeley.

I’m not a pilot, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night…
