Greg joined us for the first 50 minutes or so after the announcement of Bobby's retirement and gave us a bit more in-depth look at what life was like the last 48-72 hours within the athletic department. From there we talk on our takeaways from the convo and our thoughts in general regarding the retirement announcement + the future with Bobby Kennedy. In closing, we had over 80 fan questions! We make sure to get to them, or just give thanks to the fan who asked on a repeated topic.

It was a really good pod, it felt good to talk it out and to reflect on the legacy of Bobby Hauck and look ahead to the exciting future of Grizzly football. Links here for web/spotify/apple - or just search up Griz Fan Podcast in your preferred podcasting platform.

Per the transcript - said 12 times :ROFLMAO:
I hope my comment didn’t come off as mean lol it just did make me chuckle.

Obviously it had been a long 24 hours for everyone in the department, he wasn’t forced to go sit in front of a mic and speak candidly about what had happened….its admirable that he took personal to do this for the fans.

I heard a part that said Monte Gilman is gone? Where did he transfer and do they have a team that will go after Eli?

I loved Monte and really hoped to see his big play ability next year. That being said, did anyone else notice that when Monte returned to the sidelines after one of his plays, he always had the look on his face like he just survived a near death experience and was joking about it later with his buddies.
