more likely he does the 'feet and ankles' stroke, which can be hard to maneuver but keeps most of the body dry. but who knows?

Great pod! I forgot about Don Read handing out Snickers candy bars and calling players by their numbers. I still remember Coach Read being in the stands during special teams sessions during practices and calling out special teams players who were over the line when the ball was kicked. Hey, #19 you were over the line! You were over the line! It's one of the few times Coach Read would raise his voice at players.
