I am in no way saying that the refs caused us to lose this game, bad specials teams play and horrible playcalling did, but there were 2 calls that really did change momentum in the game. Tully gets a penalty for hitting a guy with his shoulder pad in the receivers shoulder, he drops the ball and it was on 3rd down, they call some penalty on him and they get a first down. Then that facemask call on Harris was suspect at best, a play that SUU fumbled on and we recovered it, and I believe that SUU got points on that drive. I guess we should not expect much different, but we are the Grizzlies, we should not need the refs to help us win. The Griz way of football is you line up and kick the ass of the guy across from you, but we are starting to get away from that with this spread offense. The spread is an offense that lets you take advantage when your team is not as talented as your oppenent. The Griz are still more talented than most teams they will play so line up, and kick the crap out of the guy next to you, instead of trying to run these gimmick spread option sweeps, and lame ass screens. Get back to playing Griz football, either tough man football or the air bear where you take advantage of having superior wide receivers, we dont need a gimmick type no huddle offense to win!!!!!
