If I remember correctly, Georgia State's mission all along was to go FBS. The CAA was just a stopping point for them on their way to the "big time". Or, as it turns out, the Sun Belt. :lol:

So the merged MWC/CUSA coudl grow to 24 - that is the 8 remaining CUSA, 8 remaining MWC teams. The other 8 being considered must include the 7 remaining WAC members plus BYU?

The commish's of the MWC/Conf USA have said that they might get as big as 32 teams much less 24 teams...
You could have two 12 team conferences or four 8 team divisions so you could have two semi-final games and one conference championship game? Each team would have one rival you play every year (Montana v Montana State) and you play seven games in your divison and one cross division game per year (Montana v Wyoming?)
