It is a true Division 1 conference. No, this isn't a move up post as those days are gone, at least, for five years or so....
 
You do realize that Georgia St is different from GSU or Georgia Southern. Only saying since so many think that they are an automatic to win the Sunbelt right of the gate, which I see as not the case.
 
Sort of a cup of coffee appearance in the CAA for Georgia State, but it seemed as though the program was aiming for Division 1 from the get go.

So true D1 conferences have their men's basketball champion get seeded dead LAST in the tourney two years in a row??
 
Can the other GSU, Georgia Southern be far behind? BTW, they already play their home games in the Georgia Dome in Atlanta...which for an FBS newbie beats the hell out of a Kibbie Dome.
