General tourney discussion

Griz are similar to UCLA in that both teams beat Mississippi Valley State. Although Griz beat them earlier in the year and not in the tournament.

Unfortunately the similarities end there.
 
West Virginia is about 2 minutes from sending Duke home.
66-55, WV with 1:54 to go.

If not mistaken, WV is the first team into the Sweet Sixteen.

Just talked to my friend in Spokane & he says many over there are asking for Few's head because of the early exit again this year!!! I don't know why but for some reason Gonzaga just doesn't seem to be playing team ball. More of an individual effort by all. Anyone else see this as well?
 
Marist just went on a 22-2 run against Depaul to basically end that game. These girls were down by double digits and just took over. I like this team. They were sure fun to watch last year too. Some real short chicks, like 5' 4", but they can hit from 3 point land. Marist does have a very talented girl at center too.
 
West Virginia just survived against New Mexico. If the LG win, we will face W. Va. in the second round. A much better draw than the Lobos in their home turf, the Pit.

On ESPN Friday night, after the first round of the men's tourney was completed, they announced that something like 3.7 million brackets had been submitted on their website ... and NOT ONE perfect bracket remained. Makes me feel a little better about mine.

Yea can't be too sad on that one. Girls program is really coming around and the University is investing in it. I think we stay in the top 4 in the MWC for as long as Legerski is the coach.

We are now competing with the BCS conference teams and beating them regularly. A little better seed and Wyo is in the 2nd round.
