Reports say he found out he had pancreatic cancer on Sunday??
Heard a great story about him and the Raiders in their hayday. Said Upshaw would come up to the line, and say, "Hey (insert name). We are going to run the tailback over the right tackle, on 2, and there isn't a G*d Damn thing you can do about it." And then they would do just that.
Never a Raider fan, but came to appreciate those guys.

If thats true that is messed up nothing was found sooner. Terrible loss. and he went way to young, 63 is way to young to pass on.
