For those in Griz Nation who are unable to attend the game in Missoula, maybe we can create a "sticky" of viewing locations for people to know where they can go in other cities across the country! If you know of any other viewing parties anywhere, post it and I'll update this list!

Griz Viewing Parties:

Arizona
Duke's Sports Bar & Grill - Pheonix

California
Joxer Daly's Irish Pub in Culver City - Los Angeles
Daily Grille - Rancho Santa Margarita

Colorado
Brooklyn's - Denver
Haters - Denver

Idaho
Buster's in Eagle - Boise
Crescent - Boise

Montana
Buffalo Wild Wings - Everywhere

Nevada
Torrey Pines Pub - Las Vegas

Utah
Gracie's - Salt Lake City

Washington
Capone's Pub & Grill - Coeur d'Alene
Sluggers - Kirkland, WA
The Pony Keg - Kent, WA

Beer Hunter in La Quinta, CA just told me they expect 100+ Griz fans.

I went there for the Cat-Griz last year, had good beer and food selection, along with alot of TV's. I remember people from Cali, were pissed that the Cat-Griz were on the main screen, as USC and UCLA were playing. Not a very rowdy bunch, as mostly Palm Spring retirees there.

Claudias in Porland, OR. SE 30th and Hawthorne. Crowd has been dwindling the last couple of seasons, but there is generally always another fan or two.

I'm stuck in Florida. . . . anyone know of anywhere near Tampa? I know it's a long shot. . . .

How about how I can watch it on TV or my computer?

I've worked with a few entities to maintain some lists with moderate success.

UM Alumni Association maintains a couple of lists. The one at http://grizalum.org/events/grizcat/allgrizgames.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; is outdated. They still let that one be posted, but instead of updating it, they put asterisks on Griz-Cat party locations that also show Griz games year-round. That one isn't terribly updated either (http://grizalum.org/events/grizcat/satellites.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;).

Another once good list by an eGrizer, http://www.vitarbordesign.com/Griz_Viewing_Locations.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, I've just given up on. Instead of updating info for Arizona, he removed two of the sites and doesn't respond anymore.

Arizona

RT O'Sullivan's: 1610 S Stapley Dr, Mesa; 480-398-3340 -- great place and the classiest of this list. Where I'm at. Nobody in Arizona has come close to seeing the number of games I have the past two decades.

The Australian: 5830 West Bell Road, Glendale; 602-938-5300 (ROOT games only?). Dave from Circle, MT, hangs out there.

Duke's Sports Bar: 7607 E McDowell; 480-675-9724 -- rarely do they not get games; Butte guy owner (Big Al). Back in the 90s, I watched games there by myself. Now they have very good crowds.

The Final Round: 5030 South Mill Ave, Ste. D20-21, Tempe; 480-456-3663 (ROOT games only?); Miles City woman owner (Ro).

Hey now. I watched virtually every game (except the bi-annual NAU game) at Dukes for the past 15 years....are you sayin' it's not "classy"? :D

For those of you in Utah, there will be a group of us watching the game at Bout Time in Herriman on Saturday night.

Heard last week that Sluggers in Kirkland, WA had changed hands and may not be broadcasting Griz games the way they used to, but I would assume they will carry this one. However if you've been going there in the past you might want to check so you're not disappointed.

Duke's is a nice bar. RTO's was a McGrath Seafood restaurant that went under during the recession. It has support beams made of huge logs from the Northwest, fine wood trimmings, and nice brick. Just a little classiER than Duke's. ;)

I saw Griz-Cat games in the 80s down here. Then regular season games in the early 90s at Max's, Doc and Eddies, Duke's, McDuffy's, RTO's on Southern, and now RTO's at Stapley.
