Game Day Shuttle

Can someone with experience describe the shuttle situation from parking downtown before/after the game? I have a TG spot but I got some folks asking me what the best approach is to getting to the game. I suggested the shuttle but I don't know many details about pre-post game pick up and drop offs.

Pretty easy. Our go to. Pick ups every 15 minutes or so in front of Market on Front and across from the Mo Club. Drop off at the foot bridge by East gate. Same in reverse after the game.

I think there are others too like Missoula College park and rid or Lewis Clark but haven’t used those.

EDIT: they are free, no open containers.

I've done the Missoula College park and ride. Bus seems to be about every 10 min, drops at same location as above, footbridge and Pressbox. Coming back can take longer but it is only an additional 10 min walk if you don't want to wait.

The snow seemed to really slow times down after the last game, but that is too be expected.

is it a complete cluster fudge after the game? long wait time? they are going to have some kids with them

It’s not bad usually. It does take longer than getting to the game and sometimes they are using the same bus for the downtown and park and ride routes but we almost always walk right on.

so drops off/picks up right by the press box essentially?

Yep! I never noticed it before I started using it but now it’s obvious.

Thanks for the info, I've been wondering about that for awhile since I moved away from the zoo and have to hotel it and figure it out or strap up my road marching boots. The wife and kiddos revolt at the mere mention of using LPCs to get around.

The shuttle from Lewis & Clark, Dornblazer drops off and picks up in front of the Music building

And then there are the buses from several bars. We always take the one from Marvin's. It leaves there about 1 1/2 hours before game time.
