Further secrecy

Remember when Bobby closed practices? Especially before the scat game? What hurts about closed practices our team comes out and runs the ball up the gut for 3 plays, punts, repeats this over and over. Course that was Bobby Ball.
Stitt will speed up this offense so fast that the poor refs will need to call time out. This secrete practice is primarily to hide from the refs as it is they who will be gassed!

Watched some of Carrolls practice....amazing how Van Diest can win all those National Championships without closed practices (yes I know he can't due to facilities). Point is, others have known his major schemes...and Carroll still wins. Better players, better prepared will win most games not needing smoke and mirrors. And by the way, they look solid again this year.

Maybe a swap could be arranged. We send them RE and they send us whoever. That will take care their string of football success, and set THEM back 20-30 years. The bitch is how to sell it.

To those who feel they are entitled to knowing what's going on in closed practices, this video is for you:

Seriously Ursus, give it up. Closing practice does not mean "smoke and mirrors".

Ursus, if you think for ONE second MVD likes fans, boosters and video cameras at his practices than you do not KNOW the man. Just because he doesn't call his practices closed, I guarantee he has complete control over them.

This play was so good that it worked more than half the time even if you called it as the defense! Ahhhh...love me the Tecmo Bowl!

Best game ever made. There isn't even a close second. :thumb:

Great for old school 2D. But give me some Tudor electric football. Painted my Pack/Colts set as Griz - State college. Pounds their asses with Blancas, Kent, Caputo. Dates me, but also showed me the absolute value of machine-generated vibration.'

AMEN BROTHER! We spent countless hours painting, repainting, adjusting the little plastic fingers, and otherwise playing vibrating football. There was one guy named Snodgrass (don't know why but we thought that was the funniest name ever) who always fumbled the ball. You can play in the virtual world but there is nothing quite like real plastic figures moving around semi-randomly. Simply riveting.

No secret. Have you heard the latest? Two Bison operated drones were recording the secret practice and flew into one another. The crash site was outside of WA Griz and we were not fast enough to get the evidence. One of our more notable E-Grizers (Alpha) was in on the entire escapade and almost recoverd the wrecked ND Drones. His own drone was flying at the time and witnessed the entire episode.

Wondering if any charges will be filed?

Police called to Oregon practice over bizarre TV crew incident

Updated at 1:29 p.m. ET

Oregon's cageyness as to what really goes on at its practices was heightened when police were called in after an alleged disturbance with the Pac-12 Network crew last week.

According to sources with CBS Sports, analyst Curtis Conway and the television crew were approached by security personnel, who asked the crew to move away from an angle that allowed them to see the practice field.

Conway and the group were merely ascending the stairs to a production truck, the sources with CBS Sports said. A tense standoff occured, during which someone called the police. After multiple police cars showed up to the facility, the issue was quickly resolved.

Conway declined to comment to CBS about the incident.

Oregon has been known to be extremely exclusive with player injury information and started completely closing its practices off in 2011. According to The Oregonian, a person must be a coach, player or approved visitor to be present during practices.

During the years that Boise State found themselves, sometimes, in the top ten in the country, they practiced "trick plays" all week. Their field was patrolled by tough volunteers that kept spies away. These guys were not students. The M makes that impossible in WGS. They beat Oklahoma on a trick play that high schoolers were trained to stop. A closed field is necessary for a wide open offense to be successful.
