Watched the Chatanooga/Furman game and seems like the game plan is pretty typical. Stop/limit the run, contain the qb and keep him throwing from inside the pocket, deliver hard hits early and often, and limit big plays by receivers. We need to force them off the field in 3rd down situations as they want to control the clock. Our offense has some good matchups as well and hopefully we will be able to showcase our speed and athleticism. The crowd was pretty paltry, and though it was listed at just over 8,000, there was a lot of empty seats. We need to give them a big WaGriz welcome to Montana.
Besides Ropers return, it will be interesting to see if Gene Chizik comes to watch his son play since UNC doesn't play in the Duke's Mayo Bowl until the end of the month against West Virginia.
It also appears that they are doing their best to fill the JMU void in the FCS as they have a purple velvet turnover crown. I know it's fitting for them given the history of the Paladin and purple being a royal color, but all I can see is that stupid crown wearing JMU Duke dog.
