fumble time outs

I don't think this has been discussed, but I thought it was intersting against NAU that the very next series after Dan Moore fumbled, Dan was right back in.....
Past Griz coaches typically sat the player fumbling at least a series or two.
Does it make any difference?
Go Griz!

He only had two more carries after his 2nd fumble. They effectively "sat" him without actually sitting him.

And coincidentally, our offense became ineffective at that same time.

This is a very poor title for what the topic of your question was. fumble time outs, what in the world does that supposed to mean? But given nobody really responded to the topic, and given that my question falls under your question, I will post my question here. When was the last time a Griz fumbled three times in two games and was not sat down? Seems like it was a long while ago. Even Chase saw the pine when he fumbled.

Used to be when you got the ball and Griz Nation trusted you to carry it, if you failed once you sat, let alone 3 times.

Duh....
If you fumble, you get a time out (sit out)

What if we applied the same logic to the QB every time he threw an interception?

Is it your expectation that the running backs NEVER make a mistake?

Yes, if the mistake is putting the ball on the turf. A running back normally has only himself to blame when he fumbles. A QB throwing an interception has a chance the receiver blew the route.

Did you not notice what happened to QB Trent McKinney when he was replaced by QB Shay Smithwick-Hahn?
