If not WSU then Colorado State

My only concern is EWU facilities....

...And having to continue to put up with Screaming Beagle...

Well... Your HS gym doesn't get it done

Old picture. The lower deck has been redone. Reese is a nice 6k seat basketball pavillion. New seating and video boards this past season. More than adequate and better than most of the arenas in the Big Sky. The real area of focus is the Gateway Project.

NDSU has zero interest, this article in the und owned newspaper (yes, they own the writers, total schills) basically shows the desperation of und NEEDING NDSU.....like it always done. Und can't afford the big fluffy travel and let's all face it, your conference doesn't like flying into Fargo then bussing to grand forks does it?

NDSU football deserves FBS, this football program is that good. many Olympic sports at NDSU are FBS already. Wrestling top 25, softball top 25, track top 10 and a top 5 women's golfer.

We advocate MONTANA & NDSU package themselves to the mountain west.
sorry but ndsu has very little that resembles fbs football. indoor stadium-fail. off campus stadium-fail. craig bohl isn't staying around much longer, so those wins will dry up fast.
The FargoDome can hold over 19,000 and it is on campus. It would take a real sweet job opening for Coach Bohl to leave. Please don't post sh*t that isn't factual - if you don't know ask. Going to FBS with the increased scholarships is a lose lose situation for all FCS schools.

"...lose lose situation for all FCS schools...?" Speak for yourself, pal. Your brash broad brush paint job doesn't work for Appalachian State, Georgia Southern and half a dozen other schools...on the other hand NDSU's 19,000 indoor facility faces the same expansion limitations as Idaho's Kibbie Dome...which has been a major impediment to the the Vandals moving into a decent conference...

Reese reminds me of the basketball gym in Belgrade. About the same size. Belgrade's is nicer, but it's newer, too.

I do speak for myself. You are already calling the move by app st. and GSU successful? Looking forward to seeing you guys next year in Fargo.

Are there expansion issues with the Fargo Dome? Just because it's an indoor arena doesn't mean it has expansion issues. North Dakota is a small state, smaller than Montana by about 300k people. Do the folks in Fargo really need a stadium much bigger than 19k?

Actually we're sold out for the year. A 25,000 seat arena would be about perfect. Too costly to expand the FargoDome.

Fargo is also pretty close to Minnesota, and I assume there are a lot of NDSU alumni living there who make their way into Fargo on gamedays.

Yeah - I don't know how many. As you know winning is the key.

But therein lies the problem. To get one of those NOW would require additional millions and millions to retrofit your dome, and multiple more millions to start over.

Man up and build an outdoor stadium. Football was meant to be played outside in the elements. On natural grass too. I still wish WA Griz was natural grass. Loved the mudbowls of the 80's and 90's.

There's a lot of oil money out in North Dakota too. Build an outdoor stadium and they can expand as much as they want. It'd be interesting to see how much support they would get with a bigger stadium closer to 25k.

Actually, it was too damned cold that day for there to be ANY mud.
