You do have the Tommy Mellott commit going for you next year. That’s the best QB prospect there since Prukop and McGee. And Padmos - he’s a huge under-appreciated facet of your defense. But you can bet Rob Ash’s hand pressed chinos the day of reckoning is coming Nov 23.

Despite Mellott’s verbal, he went on a visit to UM last weekend. I would be concerned if I was a passing QB that was considering msu’s run first offense and their lack of development in a passing game after 3+ years of Choachy. It will be interesting to see if Mellott remains solid.

Not sure Tommy was “visiting UM” other than he stopped over on the way back from a Friday night game at Glacier to watch the Griz game. Anyway, he has Butte at 5-0 and he’s a great kid, even if he takes the “wrong path in life” I’ll root for him except when he plays the Griz.
