Moos didn't want to leave Wazzu. He approached the new President multiple times about an extension and was continually rebuffed. Sounds like there is considerable friction between that athletic department and the new President. Moos accepted the position and Wazzu found out through twitter. In all seriousness, if EWU ever came into money, it would not surprise me in the least if they spent it on (or it was earmarked for) something fucking stupid and useless like gold-plated taintscratchers for the staff, an above ground pool luxury box in the end zone, a Tupac hologram, or red turf.
