Pat Forde of Yahoo Predicts the winner of the Big Sky Tourney (About half way down the page with a nice picture of Coach Tinkle)

"Big Sky (22). March 14-16 at site of the regular-season champion.

Top seed: With a week to go the league race is still in doubt; Montana holds a one-game lead over Weber State.

Dark horse: None. This is a two-team league.

Minutes stat: The Grizzlies are 34-2 in their last 36 Big Sky games, with both losses against Weber State. The Wildcats, meanwhile, are 24-4 in their last 28 Big Sky games, with three of the losses coming to Montana.

Minutes pick: Weber State. There is life in Ogden after Damian Lillard, especially since chief rival Montana's NCAA bid was compromised by an injury to guard Will Cherry."

I agree with the pick :thumb:

here weebs, this will dry you up.

Next time the GRIZ play Weber State at Ogden, see how ironic it will be hearing the old man bitch about Tinkle. Then, watch Rahe as well. Funny how they do about the same actions in working the refs. Yet, old man bitches about Tinkle. Yet Rahe can do no wrong. I understand he should not be calling out the hometown coach, but honestly hearing that old man is so annoying when it comes to his comments on Wayne.

Rahe and Tinkle are surely the cream of the crop for BSC coaches. I respect them both, and feel the conference is fortunate to have 2 quality coaches the level of these men. How many more years will they stick around? I hope a long time.

I agree, both are great coaches. And all coaches yell and get animated. I just thought the photo of Tinkle that Forde put in the article was a strange one to pick. He looks like a real life Grizzly Bear. Looks scary as hell. But everything I hear about Tinkle is positive. Sounds like a great guy.

He is a class act. Get up to Missoula early, if the GRIZ host this year. Swing by the basketball offices and introduce yourself. Tinkle is easy to like and sells the program 24/7. You will be very impressed. I was fortunate enough to meet Coach Rahe at Greeley when UNC hosted. He and BJ Hill were great to me, and everyone. Very easy to like guys and great coaches. Hill is still pretty young, but I like his future. I feel UNC got themselves a pretty damn good young coach.

Adras was alright too, but did not quite strike me as impressively as Rahe and Hill did.

For what it's worth during the broadcast of today's Hellgate State playoff game the announcer said this will be Tres' last year at Hellgate. Said something about Wayne said he would stick around 1 more year last year. Not sure if this was pure conjecture on broadcasters part, or inside information.
