Some of the collateral damage effects, I surmise, in coming years will be from the standpoint that recruiting service/s provided, that are already out there, are going to be intensified; to make certain that "Big Time" colleges are indeed recruiting the best players possible and getting their money's worth in the process.
More in-depth evaluation processes involved, etc., covering many more areas previously, I would think. But we all know it is the academic that is still the primary goal while the athletic is secondary, of course. The Five- and Four-Star players being recognized, as usual, but more threes and twos categorized, etc. This from such independent agencies as maxipreps, scout.com, rivals, etc. This is almost like saying that the floodgates have been opened to prod, measure, and inspect everyone's athletic prowess once they enter high school. Sounds like something to relish.
