Don Read had losing seasons 10 out of 16 years before coming to Montana...was 4-5-1 with Portland State the year prior to coming to Montana.

With Stitt recruits!

HMMM! This sounds all too familiar to me.

I believe that Stitt has done a fantastic job of recruiting. It appears that he has brought in not only first class talent, but when I read the bios, etc. it seems that they are quality kids with good grades, etc. If we needed a recruitment coordinator, he would be my first choice.

But why couldn't he win a single playoff game in 10 years as a head coach but a new coach comes in and, with Stitt's great recruits, wins one finally?

I really don't want to be a constant anti-Stitt basher, and I really hope that he figures out whatever he needs to figure out to take his recruits to the playoffs and get beyond the second round. But he had more of his recruits this year than last year (JuCo transfers) and yet even his strongest supporters should admit that the team took a step backward from last season. Even though we had much more consistency at the QB position.

Then the only remaining question is how many of theses kids aren't back next season? Pictures of Kessman & Forcier are already hanging in the coaches offices if you were wondering. Bastards.
