Agreed. They can mess with uniform color combos all they want, but I REALLY wish they'd leave the helmet and logo alone.

Absolutely spot on. I don't know even know what blow-hard decided to go with maroon helmets and white script recently.

I think we only wore silver helmets (well granite now) with maroon script once at home last year. What a joke.

Some of these were pretty hysterical - like the one for Nebraska that made the helmet look like an ear of corn. But, some were really good looking. I like our standard "Griz" helmet, but if the players want something a little jazzier to get them pumped up, then I'm all for it; it's their blood on the field. I really liked the helmets with the outline of Montana on them last year - several of my Bobcat friends (yes, such a relationship is possible) were ticked that MSU hadn't thought of it first!
