I could not expose my personal feelings on the Northern Colorado loss. Looking at the posts on Egriz this week helped. Thanks for all the responses, the logical ones and the emotional ones.

This is the most important game for me personally and I'm sure it is for most of Griz nation and the coaches and team.

All the cards are on the table, all chips are in. This is by far the most important game for the Cats also for many reasons.

This game will have all focus on the players, especially the seniors and the Montana kids.

No matter how old I get...I'm always and will always be a Montana kid.

That was Hauck's strength...the internal feelings about being a Montana kid and his ability to externalize that feeling to others. This week and this game make lifetime memories for all of us, but especially for the seniors on both teams.

Not to bore Egriz...rather a rally call...all other subjects from now through the end of the game should be secondary to the preparing and enjoying of this week.

There will be plenty of time post game for the calling of heads and playoff possibilities or next years expectations.

My request is a focus on this special week. Also, can people share with Egriz stories about some of the UM seniors or other players even Cat players...this week is about them maybe we can put our personal feelings aside for a few days and give tribute to the young men who are the most committed to this program.

Here are a few of my favorite stories from playing down in the litter box. I promise that all of these are true...
Standing in the huddle coming out of the end zone and some little ass hat throws a booze bottle out of the stands and actually hits me in the knee brace. The guard standing next to me in the huddle picks it up and throws it back!
Being in the POS locker room at 1/2 time that was situated under the stands at one end zone while their fans were jumping off the stands and stomping around on the roof. Could not even hear what the coaches were saying.
My favorite was walking across the parking lot after the game back to the field house and a very intoxicated cowboy walks up to one of our linebackers, gets in his face and say's "you F______ N_____" The linebacker proceeds to punch him with his helmet, knock him out cold and knocks out a few teeth.
I always loved going down to that shit hole!

GREAT POST! Couldn't agree more, Diesel! This is the week of the Montana Superbowl. Time to crack open a few, gather with friends and celebrate a multi-generational tradition. There will be enough time in the off season for the anger, accusations and remorse. Many will waste this week and linger in depression about the past or anxiety about the future. I say fuck 'em! :thumb:

BG has progressed in his ability to throw a swing pass and throw across the middle and run this offense. He has progressed more in the few games he has started than I thought he could, hope he plays this week.

Caleb has been a solid D lineman that the offensive coordinators have to game plan around and has played through injuries and doesn't make excuses. Montana tough.

Although not from Montana JN and Peter have been great assets to the program, John will be missed. Nguyen boys played the game with a lot of heart. He will be there again this week, he is always available. Durability and reliability.

Caleb stated that this team has the talent to compete with anyone in the nation. I liked hearing that, hope they take care of business this week and get a chance to continue.

I don't care how meaningless this match-up is to some...it matters to Montana.

Peevey, Thiebes and then the younger ones like Sims and Sandry hope they get the win.

Football is A team sport and although we have more talent than state college, often they don't play as a team that is inspired and well coached.
I see our opponent this week who will likely play with considerable spirit, although they have less talent.
