First Weekend of NCAA football

Who surprised you and why this past weekend in the entire realm of NCAA football.

1. Notre Dame----put a good beating on Pitt. Looks like Charlie brought that winning attitude with him. Darious Walker is great at running back.

2. Michigan----could not cover the spread over No. Illinois. Gave up almost 500 yards in offense. Carr has to hope the best defense is a strong offense and that they can score 35+++ points a game. Henne, Hart and Grady looked well.

3. Oklahoma----I think it comes down to the fact that even though Jason White is not that sexy QB people want, he was a plain old winner at OU. Maybe this is what Rhett Bomar gets for being a Sooner rather than a Longhorn.

Oklahoma the most, it also worried me b/c I see us in a somewhat similar situtaion, new QB, stud RB, WRs that need more game time experience, and we both lost in the NC game last year.

Good point Re/max.....I didn't think of that until i read that.

I was watching FSU-Miami last night and to me that may have been the worst game I have ever seen. I liked the FSU defense but I did not care for the offense from either team. Then again many say the defense is supposed to really show through in the first game of the year.
