First time in 22 years.

Crappy OOC games, today's was salvaging a crappy situation with the falling apart of our agreement with McNeese. It's better than booking a D2 school for the sake of getting another D1 win at least, but I can understand why it's underwhelming. If McNeese were coming to town as planned today would be a sellout.

The silver lining is that the regular season home games appear to be the opposite of last years, mostly all pretty exciting matchups.

There is a pretty simple test for goldeneagles theory..... As us old folks die off our season tickets would be left unsold and there would be season tickets readily available. There are not.

Far too many crappy conference games as well. Opponents matter, and people -- rightfully -- just don't get jazzed for the likes of NoCo, Sac, ISU, etc.

In some ways I agree that our fan base is somewhat old. Compared to bozeman states fan base I feel like we are a little behind. There are many more 18-30 year old fans of state right now. This may be due to many factors, but I think one of the biggest is pride in your university. Let's be honest here, UM needs a few "wins" to get momentum back. Many people are really excited about going to state and many parents and grandparents are excited about their kids going to state. I hate writing this but I feel it is true. Tide hopefully will turn again. Go Griz!

SPOKANE--The Gateway Project is moving along nicely. Representatives from the prestigious stadium designer, Bleachersnow.com, rolled out a few new mock-ups to the raucous applause of nearly a dozen EWU supporters in attendance at an Eagle Booster Club meeting at the Perkins Restaurant across from the Spokane Convention Center on Wednesday.

Provost Rickie "Slim" Stevenson noted, "This is, um, like, exactly what we need. It's super tight. *scratches neck* It will totally, you know, put us where we want to be to play the sports and shit from, like, a stadium kind of thing, if those f***[*] drop the price some. You holding, bro?" The Gateway Project was much maligned in its infancy as a "pie in the sky" idea, but following a decision to adjust the scale, the doubters are eating their words.

"I didn't think we could do this shit, like, in the beginning and stuff, but here we are, and we are doing some bomb-ass shit." said Frank Thatcher, the director of the EWU Booster Club. Stevenson expects the expansion, for which the contractor presented two different options at twelve months same as cash on approved credit, to create jobs for the area. "Yeah, once it's up and shit, we could sell stuff to people, like, watching the game or whatever. Plus, my boy Corey and his little cousin Trevor said they could fully increase their biz under the stands.", said Stevenson.

All in all, Eagle fans are ecstatic about the Gateway Project which will increase the capacity of Woodward Field by 100 to 250 seats. "We just have to hope those choades at the bank come through with the loan stuff and shit like that. Hey, shout out to my man Chris R.! Me and him are going to start a T-shirt company, but it's gonna be, like, more than that because we're gonna do concerts and skating stuff, too.", said Stevenson. Cheney Teachers' Federal Credit Union could not be reached for comment.

Slim! One of the best Red Bull salesman I've ever seen! Use to clean up at the regional Motocross circuit... Literally, he would clean up after the races. Great guy.

I've heard good things about the CTFCU though. They have really implemented the finest concepts of the EWU Marketing program. Golden Coral gift certificate for opening a checking account. ATM locations at every Dollar Store from Ritzville to Airway Heights. Single digit interest rates on Mobile home loans...

Had 4 tickets for sale in kalispell and sold all four in about an hour after posting. two separate buyers

& they just went up 7-0 on Colorado. Colorado hadn't given up a TD in two games this year.
