FIRE the Sheriff!!!

So.... if you read the following story, the sheriff should be fired. After all, HIS deputy did this, although not while on the clock, much like football players doing stupid crap while not at practice or during school

Don't hate, just using the SAME DAMN LOGIC some of you are using for firing Pflu and O'Day. It sounds to me like we have a sheriff's department that is totally out of control and we MUST make a change starting at the top right???

These deputies are out of control and something must change NOW.....

http://www.kpax.com/news/missoula-co-reserve-deputy-accused-of-assault/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Let's see the B.S. fly now. Oh wait, some of you will say 'not as bad as what the player did', 'this isn't rape', etc... Blah, blah, blah........ whatever....

The Sheriff's Office says Mulhauser was not on duty during the alleged incident and he'll be on administrative leave until the case is resolved.

Very subtle difference, I know...especially for the koolaid drinkers.

Yeah... but he's guilty - we all know it because the press said it's true.

Not a koolaid drinker but the same logic applies and you know it.... Why should my tax dollars go to a department that has these types of people in it. Fire the Sheriff and ask questions later, screw the 'leave' - isn't that what we did to Pflu and O'Day? They are guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors, regardless of what the facts say - I want them gone and off the government payroll. Damn the facts and possible innocence - I just don't care......

Yeah. They're about alike as Tokyo's comparison of the handling of O'Day/Pflu with the internment of Japanese Americans during WWII.

I didn't know know you were at the internment camps at Fort Missoula. For that I apologize and thanks for your service to our country.... (sarcasm intended)

For you to make a comparison like that is just weird. This is about destroying people's careers which you obviously could care less about which is kinda sick, actually. What do you think O'Day and Pflu's employment opportunities are after this? WE ruined that and for you to make fun of that is just sick.... I know these two men and THEY ARE DAMN FINE PEOPLE. What do they put on their resume's for this?

Try and keep up. My sarcasm was directed at TokyoGriz's repeated comparisons to the Japanese internment.

And I've said many many times, I'm sure O'Day and Pflu ARE fine, good men. But being good men and being good leaders are two separate, sometimes completely unrelated things. They exhibited an absolute failure in leadership and for THAT they were fired. WE didn't ruin anything...unless of course your name is really Engstrom.

Oh, and enough already...you're gonna give yourself the vapors. Guys in their positions get hired/fired all the time...I tell ya, the fact it never happens in Missoula must make people think this shit NEVER happens. Feel free to read a newspaper sometime. I'm pretty sure they'll land on their feet.

I'll even venture to guess that whoever we hire has probably been fired once or twice in some capacity along the way... :o

The parallel would be the same only if the a bunch of deputies over a lot of years beat up alot of different merchants and the sheriff, said we are taking care of it internally. Then the some of the public proclaimed but wait the satelitte guy did provide bad service, he must have deserved it. . . . Besides the sheriff is a really nice guy and he has great arrest record. . . .

Just read the arapahoe county sheriff near Denver was smoking meth, having sex with minors, and soliciting prostitutes and is only going to spend 10 days in the slammer. Justice?

WEll, now, that would depend upon the cell mate...

I think this is a perfect analogy or a situation that reflects what is going on at the UM.
There are only two issues I would have against the coach or AD ( as far as athletes) and that would be if they brought someone into the system that had a past history of problems with the law. Or if they swept issues under the rug. Other than that its BS that two professional adults loss their career jobs because of off the clock actions of other STUPID ADULTS!!!. I'm sorry, but at 18 you are a legal adult and should be held accountable for your action, no one else should. If so why aren't mommy and daddy paying back the school for tuition when these dips get expelled.
Those that don't get that or don't agree never will.

He was a pretty good sheriff till he burned out. Then the lynch mob got after him.
