Finally...a team with worse kicking than the Griz

Kansas State's kicker has missed from the 41, the 42 and now from what...the 15? Another team that should have a student body cattle call for anybody...ANYBODY who can provide a point or two. K-State down 10-7 to Auburn may have real cause to rue the outcome...

I read today that Fresno State had open try outs for a place kicker too. It's an epidemic.....

The interesting thing to me is that K-States coach is about as old as MD. Maybe ancient coaches = poor kicking game.

I don't know...those K St kicks seemed well-struck to me.
This. They were good kicks that just missed.

Not like Lider line driving one ten yards left and barely into the endzone.

There's no such things as style points in kicking. A knuckle ball that flutters crazily off the cross bar scores. A perfectly struck football that soars end over end - and misses the uprights is a zero no matter how pretty it is to you guys. In short, kicks that miss are never good. Maybe you'd prefer horseshoes where close counts.

There's a difference between their kicking situation and ours, though.

They have a decent kicker who had a really bad game.

We have mediocre at best kickers who haven't shown they're capable of even having a decent game.

You're right, misses are misses, but Kansas State's kicking problems look much more fixable than ours at the moment.
