johnson seems to me to be playing without much confidence. the spy tactic could play a role, but as noted by many, he's had time to throw to wide open receivers and has frequently missed them. he's tossed key interceptions near the end of the last couple of contests that made it look like his head wasn't totally in the game. even with the spy yesterday, he had some opportunities to pick up yards on the ground, but waited too long and only had minimal gains. i wonder if that benching, or something else, has made a dent in his confidence? or am i wrong?

I wondered the same thing. Also, wondered if Johnson might have been hurt, causing him not to run. I'm not so sure Johnson was benched against IS. The Griz were up by 3 TD's. Then, 2 TD's, and late in game. It seemed time to give Brown some playing time. Maybe some of you read something else somewhere about benching.
