Last Week’s Ranking: Unranked

Last Week’s Result: 45-33 win over Portland State

Of Note: Justin Strong had three interceptions and a touchdown to help get the Griz back into the power poll.

Next Opponent: at Idaho State (Oct. 7).

Idaho State is going to absolutely destroy Idaho. I watched some of their game against NAU last Saturday and they look tough, especially on offense. Their running backs are top notch and might be the best duo in the conference. Tough schedule for them after Idaho, as they have UC Davis, liberty, and Weber state, and Montana state down the stretch.

Does anyone have any info on Case Cookus? Weber at NAU could be an interesting game if he plays.

I heard he was sent to the Dean's Office on Monday following another melt down in his Poly Sci 142 class, The Legacy of Pol Pot. Last report was that he was "resting" in the nurse's office with a cold wash cloth on his forehead, waiting for his mom to pick him up.
