FCS upsets week 2**

Cal Poly got rolled tonight.....

Trailed 34-0 at half. Made it respectable 41-25. First team QB ineffective and left the game early in the second half with possible torn ACL. 2nd string QB Chris Brown rallies the team by throwing for one TD and rushing for two TDs and a 2 pt conversion. Cal Poly out gains Fresno State (416 to 370 yards). A Cal Poly fumble at their own 29 yard line and giving up 2 TDs on punt returns (first in 6 years) dug too deep of a hole. Glad to see the team not throw in the towel.

The bad news is we may have lost our starting QB Vince Moraga. The good news is we may of found we have a better one in Chris Brown. In 1 1/2 quarters Brown threw for 184 yards and 1 TD and rushed for 39 yards with 2 TDs and a 2 pt conversion. Brown is very mobile with a strong arm. Very similar to Vernon Adams. Moraga was a good runner and decision maker, but lacks Browns arm. Browns ability to be a threat in both running and throwing puts a lot more pressure on a defense.
