FCS TV or Streaming Guide (Nov 6-7)

There are, again, an amazing number of FCS games being televised, or are available on ESPN3, this week. There's even one game featuring a ranked team tonight. As before, these are DTV channels, but at least some are available on Dish. There will certainly be other local/regional TV broadcasts or live streams. Unfortunately, as of late this afternoon, DTV does not show a channel for UM at ISU. For the past few weeks, DTV has always added a few games, some of them FCS, that are not listed until Saturday morning. Perhaps the Griz game will show up after all. Meanwhile, as others have said, Big Sky games are also on EverSport: http://eversport.tv/big-sky/football

As usual, my suggestion is to put discussions of specific games elsewhere and keep this as our “TV/Streaming Guide,” where people who find other feeds can let everyone know. (And some of the channels listed may be blacked out for some of us.)

(Have to scroll down to see the last games scheduled.)

One FCS game off the board: #24 Dartmouth won over Cornell, 21-3. (A rather boring game, actually. :? )

The first half wasn't too bad. Dartmouth was only up 14-3 heading into the locker room. It certainly did bog down after that.

After Dartmouth went ahead in the 3rd quarter with their third TD, you just never got the feeling Cornell had it in them to come back.

Fortunately, there were two good FBS games going on at the same time. The final score in the Temple-SMU game (60-40, Temple) did not reflect how competitive that game really was. For those who didn't see it, SMU had it down to a 5-point deficit midway through the 4th quarter before things fell apart.
And the final drive by UTEP to win by a FG with less than a minute left was some fun football. (Since we didn't really give a damn about either team, we could just sit back and watch.)

In Helena at least, the Griz game is on one of the Fox/ABC Gt. Falls channels, same as last week I believe.
Griz schedule shows TV as TV: Cowles Montana Media (Chris Byers etc.), which is same as the one I mentioned above, here in Townsend.
