MSU should be 22. Same record as UM and beat the two schools that UM lost to. MSU losses were to top five teams.
Except those two top 5 teams they lost to weren’t just losses.....they were absolute blowouts where the cats weren’t even competitive at all. Those losses hurt the cats more than helped them, meaning if they would have put up more than a pillow fight they may have gotten some national recognition. Instead it showed just how far behind that cats still are competing with quality teams.
sdsu was a complete blowout.![]()
With EWU it was 24-10 at half, then a 3 score game in the 3rd, and then a 4 score game in the 4th until Cats scored a meaningless TD with like 6 mins left in the game. I’m sorry but that is far from competitive in my opinion.
that's fair. but you said "absolute blowout" which I didn't feel like that one was. we were down two scores to start the 2nd half and had the ball and was moving before we stalled. I agree I doubt ewu ever felt like they were going to lose the game but I never had the feeling that game that we were getting blown out. i'll concede they doubled us up though and the game was never in jeopardy after that first drive in the 3rd quarter.
hopefully we don't have any more of those!
