Of course we're all focused on the Griz this week, and most of have lost interest in the spring season, but this is a huge disadvantage for NDSU and JMU. This could actually help somebody else knock one of these two off their pedestal.

I would think an outdoor venue would be favored.
And a place where the biggest attendance numbers will be allowed so the NCAA can make the most money.
Bingo! :thumb:

If you factor in auto-bids (10, at the moment) and the desire to minimize travel costs, I suspect it will not be difficult to predict the favored sites for the eight first-round games. And does anyone think those two factors won't be a big part of what 6 at-large bids are handed out? The NCAA has left themselves (as usual) plenty of wiggle room to do exactly what they want: https://www.ncaa.com/news/football/article/2021-02-09/how-2020-21-fcs-football-season-will-work

I see nothing that says neutral. I’d bet any playoff team from a host site plays a home game or two.
