Wow, great article and analysis. Very good and entertaining.
As an Eastern fan, I for one am taking SDSU for real, absolute fundamentally sound football. Great rushing attack, and RB Zenner is awesome. there D line is very quick, but somewhat undersized. The EWU O Line is proven, experienced (big and physical) and should be able to handle them. I will go out on a limb here and say that as good as the SDSU defensive front is, which really doesn't worry me, their DB's have NOT seen anything in the likes of the Eastern passing attack and no QB like Vernon Adams. I compare SDSU to MSU for this year, and that's a good comparison. I just don't think SDSU will have the secondary to hang with our WR's and of course VA (QB) is always the X factor.
MSU's game plan worked perfectly, control the clock, run the ball, keep EWU and VA off the field. What they didn't count on was Eastern getting the ball and scoring in 30 seconds twice. Nor did PSU, but we scored in 34 seconds and 26 seconds to win that game. So let SDSU run the what every team trys to do vs EWU and lets see what happens. Don't forget we win at 88% at home on RED. Anyway, GO EAGS and GRIZ this weekend, both WILL prevail!!

Zenner is a terrific back.. he handled NAUs defense with not much effort last week. SDSU has actually seen a very good passing attack this year, their game versus Southeastern Louisiana and gave up a whole ton of yards through the air and ground to Nebraska. Should be a fun game, it'll be one of the better ones this weekend.

Not that I am predicting an EWU loss but MSU and PSU have proven repeatedly that they don't know how to finish a game. SDSU is quite the opposite. All I can say is that the Eagles better not dig themselves a hole and count on a miracle comeback to save themselves. SDSU and Zenner seem to get stronger as the game wears on. I think EWU will have to play 4 solid quarters to win this game.
