After reading this, the GRIZ absolutely better win the last 2 regular season games. Looks like the BSC will only be getting 3 teams. EWU fans, yes you would have a valid argument if you win your remaining games too. This has us traveling in the 1st round, then onto NDSU.

For reference to yet another sports writer that seems to not know how things work:

4. When determining host institutions for playoff games when both teams are unseeded, criteria shall apply as follows: (1) quality of facility, (2) revenue potential plus estimated net receipts, (3) attendance history and potential, (4) team’s performance (i.e., conference place nish, head-to-head results and number of Division I opponents), and (5) student- athlete well-being (e.g., travel and missed class time).

There's no way WIU is ahead of us on any of that until #4.

There might be a couple, like James Madison, and the ones that would legitimately beat out Montana for non-seeded bids on a regular basis don't participate in the playoffs (Ivy League).
