This is the Athlon Sports poll. The STATS poll won't be released until around 11 AM this morning.

Good information ... but Athlon is not STATS.com. Might want to change your thread title. The STATS poll generally gets posted about 11:15 this morning. I'll be watching and try to get it up in its own thread as soon as it's up.

In case it hasn’t been pointed out. The STATS poll come out at 11:00 am.
 
RE: The Athlon poll ... two points.

One, Eastern Washington is not in the top-25. I expect, as I said in my "Poll Guesses" thread, they'll be gone from the STATS poll also.

Two: The Athlon poll/write-up was authored by Craig Haley, the same guy who is "STATS FCS Editor Editor." Had not noticed that before.
 
I generally find the Athlon poll to be pretty accurate but they messed up on the msu ranking. They should be be down 7 or 8 slots and we should be up 3 or or slots.
 
Let’s not joke ourselves EWU is a top 25 team. Probably a top 15 team when they are playing together. They should still be ranked. MSU is over ranked at this point. Montana is probably right. UCD is top 5 for sure and Weber I’m still unsure about.

:lol: based on what objective measure? Top 25 teams don’t start 1-3. Now they may end UP a top 25 team, but this is most definitely not last years EWOO team...

Program "history" says you're probably correct.

But that status has not shown up on the field. They are 0-3 against D-I opponents, 0-2 versus FCS. Can anyone in any reasonable way vote them into the top-25? That would say that "results" don't actually matter. And, as Haley said in his weekend wrap-up:

It is still a fact that EWU, with their favorable Big Sky schedule, could win the conference auto-bid and maybe even go 7-1. But they need to turn things around right now.
